Baby Bumble Bee

Baby Bumble Bee is the cutest little gal I've seen, she works hard at producing honey and just buzzing around when it's playtime. Just in case you didn't know her secret to producing honey can only be described as flawless. Baby Bumble Bee visits flowers and sucks up nectar—a sweet liquid—using their long tongue. She then stores it in a special “honey stomach,” separate from their regular stomach. While the nectar is in the honey stomach, enzymes begin to break down complex sugars into simpler ones (like glucose and fructose). This makes the nectar easier to preserve. When Baby returns to the hive, she passes the nectar to another worker bee mouth-to-mouth. This process may repeat several times, further mixing in enzymes.
